With a focus on introducing an entirely refreshed and innovative menu, Chef Ismail is poised to bring a dynamic shift to modern Mexican cuisine in Atlanta, celebrating the rich Tulum-inspired flavors that Casa Almenara champions with a nod to global flair and culinary influence.
Located in the heart of Midtown at the Rainbow Crosswalks, Casa Almenara is the innovative driver in bringing Tulum-inspired cuisine to Atlanta’s dining scene. Known for its highly curated food and beverage offerings, the restaurant also boasts a Happy Hour and Brunch menu that is available seven days a week. The entry of Chef Ismail is set to elevate this experience and double down on the establishment’s rich history and dedication to outstanding service.
Chef Ismail's illustrious culinary journey spans over a decade and across global capitals: Beginning as an Executive Sous Chef at Wet Restaurant, Miami, his flair for flavors and technique was evident. His roles as Chef de Partie at Montage Hotel, California, and Nusret Steak House, Istanbul, and as Head Chef at Nusret Steak House at the Four Seasons, Dubai, highlight his evolving artistry and widespread acclaim within the industry. Chef Ismail then showcased his expertise at Naif Restaurant, Bodrum Yalikavak, and Nola Restaurant, Istanbul, weaving seasonal ingredients into memorable dishes. He further solidified his seafood mastery at Cibalikapi and Agora Fish Restaurants.

Veteran restaurateur Gilbert Yeremian has been a driving force behind Atlanta's culinary and entertainment transformation, boasting Midtown establishments such as Gilbert’s and 10th & Piedmont. In May 2000, Gilbert brought his international insights and expertise to the Atlanta dining scene with the introduction of Gilbert’s. Initially launched as an international gourmet market offering take-out services, it soon evolved into a full-service restaurant affectionately known to many as either Gilbert’s or G’s. By January 2003, Gilbert introduced Balance, a contemporary restaurant offering a menu centered on nutritionally balanced, diverse cuisine. Continuing his endeavors, February 2010 saw the inception of HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern, quickly securing its spot as an Atlanta staple. Gilbert's innovation persisted, leading to the unveiling of a fresh concept at 10th & Piedmont in December 2012.
