New York-based Clothing brand KULE to Open at Buckhead Village this Fall
Monday, September 11th, 2023
Buckhead Village is expanding its diverse retail community with female-founded retailer KULE, the New York-based ready-to-wear brand that first made waves for its perfect striped shirt. With the occasional unexpected color combination or hidden cheeky detail, KULE’s timeless collection of modern womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear is meant to last forever. With current stores in Rockefeller Center and Brooklyn Cobble Hill, the brand is thrilled to expand its signature stripes, sweaters, and smiles to its first out-of-state location at Buckhead Village.
"We’re so excited to officially expand KULE to the Atlanta and Buckhead communities,” says founder Nikki Kule. “We’re so proud to be in the company of such incredible retailers at Buckhead Village. We’re pouring our heart out into this store, and we hope you’ll soon agree that life is better in stripes!”
Having grown up in the fashion industry, Founder Nikki Kule – whose parents created the brand Happy Legs in 1970s New York – first launched KULE as a childrenswear brand in 2001, which later became only the second childrenswear designer to be inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). In 2015, she pivoted to relaunch the brand as a womenswear line that perfected the striped tees that have been touted by countless heavy-hitters as closet mainstays. Spotted on celebrities including Kelly Rutherford, Miranda Kerr, and Reese Witherspoon, the brand now offers a full collection of styles for the whole family, all threaded with the company’s primary ethos in mind – classic styles made with love and a happy wink.
KULE will open at 247 Buckhead Avenue at Buckhead Village next door to Etro, and will be joining the property’s latest curation of modern fashion brands including Rag & Bone, Sarah Flint, Frances Valentine, and Jenni Kayne. The store’s hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from noon to 6pm.
