Buckhead Village Debuts “Après-Ski” Event Series & the German Christkindl Market Returns – this November!

Tuesday, October 24th, 2023

Buckhead Village is taking the holidays mountainside with ski-in, ski-out access to an Alpine lodge setting complete with crackling fires, ski-lift photo ops, live music from OkCello with dance and aerial performers, seasonal food and warm beverages, festivals, and pop-ups. For world travelers home for the holidays, Buckhead is bringing a mash-up of vintage 1950-80s “after-ski” culture with illuminated snow-capped trees, vintage snowshoes and sleds, cocktails at the bar, and fireside moments. Sunny sidewalks will be swapped for a dream lineup of holiday events including a new “Après-Ski” event series, the third annual German Christkindl Market in partnership with The German American Cultural Foundation, and more.

Set to bring the nostalgia of Europe and Aspen-inspired après-ski culture straight to the streets of Buckhead, the property-turned-fireside lodge will transport guests to an Alpine paradise of winter charm and holiday cheer. Introducing a vintage twist and “Après All Day” vibes, this season will revamp the beloved streets of Buckhead Village with bucket-list worthy après-ski hangouts and cozy, plush decorations adorned with snowy motifs and vintage ski gear, picturesque snowy vistas, crackling fireplaces, and other vintage-heavy designs inspired by some of the world’s top luxury ski resorts.

Following a day of exhilarating downhill runs, guests can enjoy the camaraderie of fellow winter sports lovers in a cozy and festive setting.
