Harry Norman, REALTORS®, the premier luxury real estate firm in Atlanta and North Georgia, is giving back to the community with 1,680 Care Kits donated to Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (Atlanta RMHC) through its annual Harry Norman Cares Initiative. What began in 2021 has now grown into an annual tradition benefiting a local charity of choice. For the second year, the brokerage partnered with Atlanta RMHC, inviting agents, employees, and community members to drop off selected items for various Care Kits at different Harry Norman office locations from Oct. 2-23.
 
Participants who donated items truly exceeded expectations. The goal was to surpass last year’s donation of 1,185 Care Kits, which go to the children and their families during their stay at the Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses as they receive treatment for illness or injury at a nearby care facility. Through the collective efforts of Harry Norman agents, employees, and the public, a total of 1,680 Care Kits were donated.

Atlanta RMHC was thrilled to partner with Harry Norman for a second year. The items donated were used to create different themed Care Kits, such as “Personal Care Kits,” “Laundry Essentials Kits,” “Grab-and-Go Snack Kits,” and “Entertainment Kits." The specific items collected for donation included travel-sized shampoos and soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, arts and crafts items, stuffed animals, non-perishable food items like sweet and salty snacks, and more.
 
“We are thankful for the support of Harry Norman during its Harry Norman Cares Initiative,” said Tracey Atwater, Atlanta RMHC President & CEO. “They created festive Halloween goodie bags and stocked the Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses with much-needed hygiene, laundry, and snack kits to support the families staying there. Harry Norman’s generosity truly makes a difference for the families at the Atlanta Houses.”
 
To wrap up the initiative, Harry Norman, REALTORS® agents and employees came together at their local offices to package the donated items into Care Kits to be delivered to Atlanta RMHC and were also invited to three volunteer opportunities. Two of these opportunities involved making on-site snacks and one included a crafting class for families and patients to create their own miniature haunted house.
