The Providence Group, the premier developer and homebuilder of award-winning neighborhoods throughout Atlanta, announces the ground breaking and opening of its VIP list for Knollwood, a small enclave of single-family homes in highly regarded Johns Creek. The 9-acre site will include 20 single family homes on spacious homesites. Home designs are currently being developed for this exclusive enclave.   

Knollwood is situated in a prime location of John’s Creek with easy access to Hwy 141 and Hwy 120 (Abbott’s Bridge). Located just north of Knollwood is the city of Johns Creek’s new Town Center Vision and Plan, which includes The Medley and Creekside Park. The Medley is currently under construction at the corner of Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry road. Residents will have convenient access to the 200,000 square feet of retail, restaurants, and entertainment concepts plus 110,000 square feet of office space that will be included in that development.  The Town Center Plan also includes Creekside Park, which will become the central node of recreational and civic development for the city.  This new Town Center is expected to dramatically impact housing values in the surrounding areas, much like Avalon impacted values in Alpharetta.

Just last month, Johns Creek was named one of the best places to live in the US, because of its big city perks with a tight-knit community lifestyle a smaller city affords. Not only does the area have great shopping, restaurants and schools, but Johns Creek is one of the largest concentrations of tech and health care companies in the region which provide top-notch medical care and good paying jobs. More than 450 health care and social services companies are established in John’s Creek.  Boston Scientific picked the city for its new state-of-the art research facility featuring an 8,000 SF pathology lab.
