The Latin American Association (LAA) presented its 3rd annual Christmas Market on Saturday, December 2, showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit of Latina women from their program Avanzando Juntas. The event took place at the Latin American Association center at the Buford Highway.

“This market went beyond the ordinary shopping experience, providing a unique opportunity to invest in dreams, offer support for aspirations, and make a significant impact on our community's economic landscape,” stated Monica Cucalon, Vice President of Economic Empowerment at the LAA.

The market featured a diverse array of offerings, including handmade jewelry, beautiful clothing, traditional crafts, and more. Each item carried a unique story of culture and resilience. Participating businesses such as Oasis Del Mar, It's Monna, Duo Love, and Altare contributed to the vibrant atmosphere.

Bank of America, one of the event's sponsors, played a crucial role in making this festive occasion possible. Their support added another layer of significance to the LAA’s 3rd Holiday Market.

"The LAA’s 3rd Holiday Market is more than just a marketplace; it's a testament to the strength and creativity of Latina entrepreneurs in our programs,” emphasized Cucalon. “It provided a platform for these women to showcase their talents, share their stories, and contribute meaningfully to our community's economic tapestry.”
