The Providence Group, Atlanta’s premier homebuilder and developer, was awarded three honors from St. Jude Children’s  Research Hospital^® for their dedication to the first-ever St. Jude Dream Home^® Atlanta Giveaway. The awards included the Zero Hero award, the First-Year Builder award and the Most Impressive Home Feature award. These prestigious awards are selected from several homebuilders who support the more than 40+ Dream Homes across the country. The St. Jude Dream Home^® Atlanta Giveaway also was awarded a Gold OBIE from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association for the Best Community Service Project. 

The Zero Hero award is given to builders who are able to fully donate the entire home and homesite with no cost incurred by St. Jude. The Providence Group worked with many trade partners, vendors and suppliers who generously donated all of the materials, labor, time, profits, marketing and operational costs. Green Brick Partners, the parent company of The Providence Group, donated the homesite to this worthy cause which allowed our team to transfer the home to St. Jude at zero cost.

The St. Jude Dream Home^® Giveaway program is one of the most prominent and longstanding fundraisers for St. Jude, raising more than $650 million dollars since 1991. The St. Jude Dream Home^® Giveaway program was founded by Dr. Donald Mack, a pediatric physician from Shreveport, Louisiana. Builders, subcontractors, vendors and other campaign sponsors that donate time and labor to build a home help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. 

The Providence Group, along with more than 30 trade partners, built the St. Jude Dream Home^® in Atlanta, located in the gated, master-planned community of Millcroft in the Sugar Hill area of Western Gwinnett. The 2,470 square-foot home with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths is valued at over $650K. The interior and exterior of this one-of-a-kind-home, showcases the commitment to both quality construction and meticulous detail.
