The Providence Group partners with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® to build 2024 St. Jude Dream Home®Giveaway in Atlanta

The Providence Group, the premier developer and homebuilder of award-winning neighborhoods throughout Atlanta, has partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® for the second consecutive year to build the 2024 St. Jude Dream Home in Atlanta, which will be located in their newest neighborhood, Sawnee Village, in Cumming.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Wednesday, Nov. 29, and was attended by The Providence Group team, its trade partners, local St. Jude donors, volunteers, sponsors and others. The 2024 St. Jude Dream Home will be the Lassiter plan, which is an open concept design featuring both the primary bedroom and guest bedroom on the main level with an additional bedroom and large media room on the second floor. The plan has 2,579 square feet of living space with a covered rear porch and a striking modern farmhouse elevation.

Sawnee Village is a mixed-use community located within 1 mile of the new Cumming City Center. Upon completion, the gated community will include 544 new construction townhomes and single-family homes, and 262 apartments. The community will also include more than 100,000 square feet of commercial, office, retail and entertainment venues. This one-of-a-kind community will change the landscape of this incredible Cumming location. The wide variety of home designs will appeal to residents across all life stages and the high quality amenities and maintenance-free lawns at Sawnee Village will provide residents with an elevated lifestyle that The Providence Group has become known for. The community pricing will range from the mid $300’s to the high $900’s.

The 2,470 square-foot home with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths is valued at over $650K. The interior and exterior of this one-of-a-kind-home showcases the commitment to both quality construction and meticulous detail. The Providence Group and its partners were honored with several awards from St. Jude including the Zero Hero Award, the First Year Builder Award and the Most Impressive Home Feature Award. These prestigious awards are selected from several homebuilders who support the more than 40+ Dream Homes across the country. The 2023 Atlanta St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway was also awarded a Gold OBIE from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association for the Best Community Service Project.
The St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway program is one of the most prominent and longstanding fundraisers for St. Jude, raising more than $650 million dollars since 1991. The St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway program was founded by Dr. Donald Mack, a pediatric physician from Shreveport, Louisiana. Builders, subcontractors, vendors and other campaign sponsors that donate time and labor to build a home help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live.
Tickets for the 2024 Atlanta St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway will be available for $100 each starting in May 2024, and will support St. Jude in its work advancing treatments and cures for life-threatening pediatric diseases The home will be raffled off on August 15, 2024.
