Cobb County Considering Renovations to Sheriff's Public Safety Building

At its Monday work session, the Cobb Board of Commissioners continued debate over funding for renovations to Sheriff Craig Owens' Marietta office.
Commissioner Keli Gambrill reiterated her concern about the county’s plan to use $19 million in contingency funding for the renovations. Gambrill believes the contingency dollars should be used for other improvement projects to buildings in desperate need of care, including the State Court and the Cobb County Tax Assessor's Office.
