The Fulton County Executive Airport is partnering with the Transportation Education Foundation of Georgia (TEFGA) to host an Aviation Career Expo later this month. The in-person event will be held on Friday, March 22 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in an airport hangar located at 4165 South Airport Road Atlanta GA 30336.

Airport officials and TEFGA are inviting students in the Metro Atlanta area to come out for an introduction to careers within the aviation industry. Students will get the opportunity to interface with several high-profile aviation companies from around the state such as Delta Technical Operations Center, Lockheed Martin, Fulton County Services, the U.S. Army, and the U.S. Air Force.

“The goal of this Expo is to work with educators to provide guidance and unlock doors for those students who are interested in opportunities in aviation,” said Airport Manager, Jonathan Gauthier. “This will also be an opportunity for the students to hear from industry leaders, and to hear firsthand about the type of career paths offered.”
