Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) has expanded its expertise in Atlanta with the addition of senior architect Nathan Williamson, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP.

Throughout his more than 25-year career, Williamson has designed first-class education and science and technology projects, among other outstanding facilities. His work evokes style and professionalism and bolsters GMC’s architecture services in Georgia. His thoughtful approach to design reflects a commitment to the study of place, performance and nature to create spaces that authentically celebrate each client and their unique vision and needs.

Williamson’s passion and expertise lead a design process from early visioning and programming to materials and systems for a range of project types in the higher education, K-12 education, science and technology, residence halls, judicial and hospitality sectors. He is rewarded by positioning others to find success, be it through guiding young architects or helping clients meet their functional, operational and aesthetic goals.

Williamson earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Tennessee. He is a licensed architect in Alabama, Georgia, Maryland and Virginia, in addition to being a LEED Accredited Professional and NCARB certified.

Williamson’s experience throughout his career provides him with a unique perspective that will benefit GMC’s clients throughout Georgia and the Southeast region.
