Artisan Built Communities invites active adults and their families to a senior panel event, “Should I Stay or Should I Move Now?” on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Seven Hills clubhouse.

This insightful panel discussion will address the challenges and considerations facing aging seniors and their families, specifically focusing on navigating the decision of aging in place or exploring alternative living options. Discussion topics will also include financial and estate planning, insurance, downsizing and more.

“The journey of aging can be daunting,” said Stephen Haines, President of Artisan Built Communities. “We hope this event will provide valuable information and resources to help active adults make informed decisions about their future.”

The event will feature a panel of experts, including host Maria VanVurst, a Senior Real Estate Specialist with Keller Williams and Maria Making Moves Realty. Panelists include Dale Hoeflinger, Financial Planner with Wells Fargo Advisors; Kathy Springer, Medicare Advocate with Spring Senior Solutions, LLC; Janet Ponichtera, Community Connections Specialist with Nelson Elder Care Law; Kathy Lathem, a Strategic Partnership Manager with Cobb Senior Services; Davide VanVurst, Founder and Home Inspector with Phoenix Real Estate Solutions; and Tara Schram, Owner of Assisted Living Locators. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain insights from a variety of perspectives. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served during the event.
