Bain Names Atlanta's Laura Miles as Chief Client Officer and Global Head of Industries

Bain & Company announced today it has appointed Laura Miles, a 27-year veteran of the firm, as its Chief Client Officer and Global Head of Industries. In this role, Laura will ensure Bain’s clients are at the center of everything the firm does, coordinating closely with client leaders and overseeing its nine industry practices. She will continue to be based in Atlanta.

“Laura has a well-deserved reputation for keeping her clients at the cutting edge of innovation, most recently around AI topics,” said Christophe De Vusser, Bain’s Worldwide Managing Partner. “In her new role, she will bring her enterprising spirit and technical prowess to Bain’s global client base, raising our shared expectations and ambitions in a way that translate to extraordinary results for all of our clients.”

Laura brings a breadth of leadership experience to her role, having served as Managing Partner and Office Head of Bain Atlanta’s office, which achieved the highest employee NPS globally during her tenure. She has also served as the global leader of Bain’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice, advising on some of the world’s largest deals, and she was a founding member of Bain’s global affinity group for women. She has served on Bain’s Board of Directors, chairing the Finance Committee, and she is also a leader in the firm’s Consumer Products practice.

Laura earned an MBA from Darden at the University of Virginia, and she is a graduate of Duke University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and psychology.
