Fulton County Board of Registration & Elections Chair Resigns After Reappointment

The Chair of the Fulton County Board of Registration & Elections, Cathy Woolard, has resigned after being reappointed as interim in April, according to a spokesperson for the county.
Her resignation comes about four months before the general election in November, when President Joe Biden and Former President Donald Trump will go head to head. Former President Trump is accused of violating Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election in Fulton County.
