HP Land Development, LLC Acquires Heyward Point Community, Unveils Master-Planned Residential Offering

HP Land Development, LLC is excited to announce their acquisition of the Heyward Point community.  This 515-acre master-planned community will offer over 140 custom residential home sites ranging from 1.2 to 4 acres each. 

Situated where the Colleton and Okatie Rivers meet the Chechessee Creek, the community provides marsh front views from many homesites as well as a public access area. Heyward Lake, a one-mile freshwater community lake, offers additional lakefront homesites and a non-motorized recreational area for residents. Additionally, wooded homesites will be offered for homeowners interested in a more private, interior property. 

Heyward Point’s location off Callawassie Drive in Okatie, SC is central to the historic town of Beaufort, as well as Bluffton and Hilton Head, SC.  Residents will enjoy easy access to world-class golf, beaches, parks, marinas, and fine dining. The historic cities of Charleston and Savannah are just an hour’s drive away. With three local airports – Hilton Head Island Airport, Savannah/ Hilton Head International Airport, and Charleston International Airport – regional and international travel is easily accessible.

HP Land Development, LLC is led by Managing Partners, Michael Kronimus and Jeff Parker.  Michael’s extensive background in development and architecture with Jeff’s focus on residential and commercial construction will ensure a well designed and implemented development.  Kathy Hegan has joined the team as Controller, assisting with development implementation and managing financial resources. HP Land Development, LLC has partnered with Kathryn Drury of Drury & Associates, LLC to serve as the Broker in Charge for the project due to her extensive experience in both new home construction and land sales. 

Starting June 2024, HP Land Development is offering 22 homesites for sale in their Phase 1 release.  For lot owners interested in building a custom home, preferred builder, Foundation Building, will offer turnkey design/ build services on site.
