The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) and City of Chamblee announce the installation of a public art sculpture titled Metaphysica. Members of MARTA’s board of directors and executive leadership team, along with leaders from Chamblee are hosting a ribbon-cutting on Monday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at Chamblee Station.

Phil Proctor’s Metaphysica is a sculpture that explores the possibilities of physical existence beyond the five human senses. This installation is the result of a collaboration between MARTA, the City of Chamblee, the Chamblee Public Arts Commission (PAC), and Phil Proctor.

“We are proud to partner with the City of Chamblee to bring this unique and thought-provoking sculpture to the community,” said MARTA General Manager and CEO Collie Greenwood. “Public art enriches the transit experience and strengthens our connection to the communities we serve.”
