As Vice President for SCAD Atlanta, Flower assures SCAD's reputational excellence as the global leader for entrepreneurial art and design education in the South's most dynamic metropolis and beyond. Flower is responsible for extending SCAD Atlanta's achievement of excellence across every aspect of operations, ensuring student success and satisfaction, elite academic outcomes, the finest built environment in higher education, and more. As General Counsel, Flower serves as Chief Legal Officer for the university and provides strategic legal guidance and leadership on issues impacting governance, compliance, and operations.
As the senior leader for SCAD Atlanta, Flower serves as university ambassador within the Atlanta community, promoting SCAD Atlanta's premiere cultural institutions, including SCADshow and SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film, as well as community-facing initiatives, such as SCAD Art Sales, the university's premier art curation and installation service; SCADpro, our business and design innovation studio; and SCAD SERVE, the university's design studio focused on elevating quality of life across SCAD hometowns through the SCAD SERVE Community Fund.
"It is my honor to lead SCAD Atlanta, a transformative institution of academic excellence for innovation, art, and design, and an integral part of the cultural fabric of the Atlanta community," said Flower.
