Thomas & Hutton Announces New Professional Engineer

Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce its newest Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia. Shayla Bradshaw, PE, passed the Principles and Practices of Engineering Civil exam with the Water Resources and Environmental depth examination and satisfied the experience requirements needed to become a PE.

Shayla Bradshaw, PE is a Transportation Project Engineer and joined Thomas & Hutton in 2021. Shayla graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and gained her experience on roadway design for some of Georgia’s most significant transportation projects.

Shayla is a self-starter committed to her vital role as a transportation engineer, enhancing safety and improving the quality of life in one of our nation’s most populous regions, the Atlanta metro area. Her portfolio ranges from multi-lane widening and new location corridors incorporating intersection improvements (such as roundabouts, traffic signals, and phasing) to interchange layout and design, as well as pedestrian safety and trail projects. Some of her significant projects include Sugarloaf Parkway Extension and New Interchange at I-85, the SR53 at Malcom Bridge Rd/Rays Church Rd Roundabout, the SR53 at Snows Mill Road/Rocky Branch Road Roundabout, and SR155 Widening and Improvements from I-75 to SR 42/US23
