ATL Airport District Announces Rylee Govoreau as Destination Services Manager

The ATL Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau, the destination marketing organization for the cities of College Park, Hapeville and Union City, Ga., today announced theappointment of Rylee Govoreau as destination services manager, effective immediately. Since joining the District team in May, Govoreau has demonstrated a strong commitment to building strong and lasting relationships with all District partners and clients. In her new role, Govoreau will serve as the liaison between the destination and its meeting planners, reflecting her dedication to enhancing client experiences.
"We are committed to providing the highest level of quality customer service and support to our clients and partners planning an event, conference or meeting in the District and believe Rylee is ideally suited to advance these efforts,” said Cookie Smoak, president of the ATL Airport District CVB. “Rylee has quickly become an integral part of our team thanks to her enthusiasm for our destination, and we are confident she will ensure every client, new and returning, experiences our unwavering dedication to creating exceptional and memorable events.”
The ATL Airport District Destination Services Team is known for offering a comprehensive suite of services designed to elevate the experience of meetings, conventions, sporting events and more within the District. These complimentary services include conducting site visits, connecting vendors with planners, crafting custom digital marketing materials and more, all aimed at helping planners execute exciting and impactful events.
Govoreau's transition to destination services manager marks a significant step in her career with the ATL Airport District. She originally joined the team in May as sales manager, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the tourism and hospitality industry. Before her tenure with the ATL Airport District, Govoreau served as the tourism program manager for the Douglasville Convention and Visitors Bureau, where she successfully managed sales, marketing and visitor services.
In her new role, Govoreau will focus on deepening client relationships and ensuring the success of events held within the District. Her ability to connect with clients and partners on a personal level, combined with her strategic approach to destination services, will be instrumental in continuing the District's tradition of excellence.
