Wednesday, August 14th, 2024
Centria Autism (Centria), a leading national provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, is proud to announce the opening of its Life Skills Autism Academy (LSAA) center in Norcross, Ga.
Centria places an emphasis on early intervention with its LSAA centers, providing high-intensive, specialized ABA therapy to children with autism who are five years old and younger
“This new location shows our continued commitment to providing high-quality ABA therapy services to communities throughout Georgia,” said Timothy Yeager, Chief Clinical Officer at Centria Autism. “By increasing our center-based footprint in addition to our existing in-home services, we are able to provide therapy services to more children with autism in the environment most appropriate for their individual needs.
The 13,141 square-foot center in Norcross opened at 1750 Beaver Ruin Rd., Suite 500 on July 24. It is a temporary space while a permanent location is identified and built out at a later date
The center is accepting new clients to begin services in July 2024. Client capacity is currently 69 and is expected to increase at the permanent location.
This center is Centria’s second in Georgia, joining another LSAA center located in Atlanta.
Centria centers offer individualized treatment plans from a staff of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Behavior Technicians, prioritizing the development of everyday skills and social behaviors that will allow children with autism to thrive in school, at home and in their communities.
According to the CDC, 1 in every 36 kids is diagnosed with autism – illuminating an increasing need for quality behavioral therapy across the board. Centria is continuing to honor their commitment to supporting those on the spectrum with additional center openings planned in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon and Virginia, joining the lineup of existing locations open in Michigan, Indiana, Arizona and Texas.
