The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) announces its sensory-friendly programming for Fall 2024, ensuring that all community members can enjoy and benefit from enriching activities regardless of their needs.
This season's sensory-friendly offerings include engaging and inspiring activities for children ages 6 to 12, such as soccer and art sessions that provide a supportive environment for skill development and creative expression. Additionally, a monthly teen social group offers a welcoming space for teenagers to connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships.
"We are thrilled to introduce our new fall sensory-friendly programs at the MJCCA, which reflect our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and community support," said Sarah Koenig, director of the MJCCA’s Blonder Family Department for Special Needs. "These programs are designed to ensure that every member, regardless of their sensory needs, has the opportunity to participate in and benefit from our enriching activities. By offering a supportive and welcoming environment, we aim to create a space where all individuals can thrive and feel a sense of belonging."
