“With Harriet’s exceptional talent for building relationships and her unwavering passion for the mission of PAWS Atlanta, her promotion to Director of Development is not just a recognition of her abilities, but a pivotal step toward the future of our organization,” says Crystal Bowman, Executive Director of PAWS Atlanta.
Ribbons has been a part of the PAWS Atlanta team for 12 years. Beginning as a volunteer, she later accepted a position as Foster Coordinator. Since that time, she has held positions as the Volunteer and Events Coordinator, Fundraising and Events Manager, and now, Director of Development. Her dedication to the mission of PAWS Atlanta throughout the years is inspiring, and the team is honored that she is continuing to serve their animals and their community in this new capacity.
In her new role at PAWS Atlanta, Ribbons will lead efforts to build and strengthen relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders. She will be responsible for shaping and implementing strategies to advance fundraising goals and support the organization’s mission of bringing people and pets together.
“It is a privilege to serve the pets and people of our community in this capacity,” says Ribbons. “At a time of such great innovation, improvement, and change in animal welfare, I am inspired by the passions and ideas of our donors and supporters. We have a lot of work to do, and I am eager to do it alongside our team.”
PAWS Atlanta is excited about the future of their organization and looks forward to furthering a culture of philanthropy and engagement in their community.
