State Farm proudly supported the DeKalb County School District’s Back to School Rally held on July 27, 2024. The rally was a resounding success, bringing together students, families, and community members to prepare for the upcoming school year with enthusiasm and unity.

In a remarkable show of community spirit, State Farm employees organized a Back to School collection drive, gathering a total of 335 clear backpacks filled with essential school supplies. These backpacks were distributed to elementary, middle, and high school students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their academic endeavors.

The event saw the active participation of 10 dedicated State Farm employee volunteers. These volunteers played a crucial role in the distribution of supplies and resources, helping to create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

“DeKalb County School District greatly appreciates the continued support of State Farm” says Jennifer Caracciolo, Deputy Chief Communications Officer. “Like any good neighbor, we could not meet the needs of our students and their families without State Farm. With the clear backpacks and essential school supplies, our students were 1^st day ready to take the school year to new levels and new heights!”

Trisha Hartman, Enterprise Safety & Security Specialist at State Farm, shared her positive experience: “The DeKalb Back to School Rally was a fantastic community event that highlighted the talents of a diverse group of volunteers who united to help students in need. I had the privilege of welcoming families, providing information about State Farm, and representing an organization that strongly believes in and supports local communities.”
