The Community Assistance Center (CAC) and State Farm® are excited to announce a series of impactful initiatives as part of their ongoing partnership to support the local community. This collaboration is particularly focused on addressing food insecurity in Atlanta throughout State Farm’s Good Neighbor Month this September.

State Farm has committed to participating in seven volunteer opportunities for its employees through CAC, including serving at CAC’s primary food pantry, underscoring the company’s dedication to hands-on community service. These efforts are part of a broader focus on tackling food insecurity, a critical issue affecting many families in the area.

Francis K. Horton III, CEO of the Community Assistance Center, shared his thoughts on the partnership: "We are incredibly proud to partner with State Farm, a company that truly understands the importance of community support. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors, and I am confident that this collaboration will continue to empower and uplift those we serve."

In addition to these volunteer efforts, CAC will participate as a featured panelist during the State Farm panel discussion on food insecurity, providing insights and strategies to combat this pressing issue. CAC will also be present at an internal State Farm nonprofit showcase on September 16, further developing connections with State Farm employees.

State Farm’s commitment doesn’t stop there. The company will be represented at the Sandy Springs Connects! Career Expo on September 12, organized by CAC’s Career Center, showcasing its dedication to supporting local talent and employment opportunities. Looking ahead, one of State Farm's departments will host a food collection drive for CAC in October, continuing the momentum of community support into the fall.

The Community Assistance Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive services to help families achieve stability and self-sufficiency. With the support of partners like State Farm, CAC remains steadfast in its mission to activate hope and expand opportunities for those who need it most.
