Federal Reserve Cuts Interest Rates for 1st Time Since 2020. What’s That Mean for Atlanta Housing?

On Wednesday, the U.S. Federal Reserve cut interest rates by a half-percentage point, the first time it’s made an interest rate cut in four years.

The Fed said it’s pleased inflation is getting closer to its goal of 2%. Right now, the rate is around 5.3%, with the cut reducing it to about 4.8%.
