Toastique, the gourmet toast and juice café, will open its first location in Atlanta on Saturday, Oct. 5. Originating in Washington, D.C., Toastique expands into Georgia with its first location at 1230 West Peachtree St. NW in the Hanover Midtown luxury apartment complex. Franchisee Nicole Wiley is helming the new Atlanta restaurant that offers gourmet toast creations, smoothie bowls, nutrient-rich cold-pressed juices, bowls, coffee, and grab-and-go options.
Toastique will open its doors at 8 a.m. on Oct. 5, just in time for an indulgent weekend breakfast of smoothies, gourmet toasts, and a selection of coffees. The first 100 guests will receive $50 in reward dollars with a $10 purchase, to be used towards future visits with a Toastique loyalty account as a special thank you for stopping into the new eatery. Located steps from the Woodruff Arts Center, Toastique will be a healthy and delicious dining spot for the Midtown community.
“Toastique brings something fresh and vibrant to Atlanta,” says Ms. Wiley. “We’re passionate about creating a place where the community can enjoy delicious, wholesome meals that fuel their day. Every ingredient we use is carefully selected for its quality and freshness because we believe that healthy eating should never mean sacrificing flavor.”
Toastique wants to show that healthy dining can be exciting and accessible. The eatery uses fresh ingredients with no preservatives or filler additives to create its menu items. Guests can choose gourmet toasts, including:
-
Tomato Burrata Toast (herbed ricotta, pesto, tomatoes, burrata, basil, olive oil, and balsamic glaze on rustico toast)
-
PB Crunch Toast (honey-roasted peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, berry jam, granola, peanuts, honey drizzle, and mint on walnut raisin toast)
-
3-Cheese Italian (prosciutto, melted Swiss and fontina, roasted garlic onion jam, and dressed arugula on jalapeño cheddar toast)
Cold-pressed juices are made with 100% natural ingredients in a rainbow of flavor combinations. Guests can order the Recharge (beet, carrot, apple, orange, and ginger; pictured below) or try one of the many freshly blended smoothies, such as the SuperFruit (açaí, strawberry, banana, blueberry, and apple juice) and iced collagen lattes, including the Turmeric Latte (Vital Proteins collagen, turmeric chai spice, ginger, maple syrup, and almond milk). Bowls such as the DragonBerry (pitaya, otherwise known as dragon fruit, mango, strawberry, agave, and coconut water and topped with strawberry, kiwi, goji berry, coconut, granola, and honey drizzle) will be on the menu. Additionally, the Atlanta location will serve a selection of juice-based cocktails. Additionally, the Atlanta location will serve a selection of juice-based cocktails.
Ms. Wiley, a retired U.S. Air Force officer and aircraft engineer program assistant for the Federal Aviation Administration, was drawn to Toastique’s varied menu, hospitality, and opportunity to make a difference in the community. “What excites me most is the opportunity to connect with our guests and make healthy food accessible and enjoyable,” Wiley continues. “It’s not just about serving great meals; it’s about building relationships and becoming a part of the neighborhood. Toastique is about creating an environment where people can feel good about their eating and enjoy every bite.”
The 1,790-square-foot restaurant seats 40 guests and offers counter service with high-top and regular tables and banquette seating. A green and blue color scheme creates a calming, upscale atmosphere, while millwork, gold accents, and live greenery bring warmth to the space. Ms. Wiley has partnered with local artists Taylor B. Douglass and G.W. Harper to adorn the restaurant’s walls with dynamic artwork.
