Fulton County Allocates $5.6M to Support Vital Community Services

The Fulton County Community Services Program (CSP) Evaluation Committee has recommended $5,613,958.00 in funding to non-profit programs to support the delivery of essential services to Fulton County residents. This initiative underscores Fulton County’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for its residents.
Since 2016, Fulton County has invested nearly $53M in County General Funds into the Community Services Program. This year, 145 non-profit partners will receive contracts to address six critical service categories: Children and Youth Services, Disabilities, Economic Stability/Poverty, Health and Wellness, Homelessness, and Senior Services.
Here’s a breakdown of the allocated funds:

Stan Wilson, Director of Fulton County Community Development, emphasized the impact of this funding, stating, "Fulton County continues to make an impact in the community by providing the means for essential community services. The financial support from the Fulton County Board of Commissioners is a blessing to the community."
To celebrate the investment in the community, a North Fulton Non-Profit Partner Celebration is scheduled for September 10, 2024, at the Chattahoochee Nature Center starting at 9:00 a.m.
