RocaPoint Partners today announced Design District as the latest concept to join Forsyth County’s premier mixed-use development, Halcyon. The family-owned flooring and interior design company has opened its second location at Halcyon, with its original warehouse located on Shiloh Road in Alpharetta. Design District occupies 5,719 square feet on Building 1100’s ground floor, between BBQ Guys and The Forum and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Design District is a full-scale interior design center and furnishings showroom with a boutique feel specializing in residential and commercial design. Starting as a flooring provider and installer two decades ago, Design District is now a one-stop-shop offering flooring, tile, wall coverings, carpet, custom rugs, cabinetry, lighting, furniture and decor, including pet-proof carpet. Guests are welcome to bring their dogs into the showroom. The original location on Shiloh Road remains a functional space with an emphasis on flooring and tile, while the new Halcyon location is more retail-driven, with more offerings displayed in the showroom. Design District assists customers with making their design dreams a reality by partnering an experienced designer with everyone who walks through the doors.

Halcyon also recently announced that Chewy Vet Care will open later this year as part of Halcyon’s Phase III, joining the newly opened Chick-fil-A and forthcoming Five Guys and Chase Bank. Elsewhere at Halcyon, Char Pizzeria has opened, taking over the former Holmes Slice space in the Market Food Hall.
