The Providence Group Awarded 14 OBIE Awards

Each year, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) hosts its annual OBIE awards which are the premier awards in Atlanta’s home construction industry, celebrating commitment to innovation in new home building, remodeling, sales and marketing. This year, The Providence Group, the premier developer and homebuilder of award-winning neighborhoods throughout Atlanta, had a phenomenal night, taking home a total of 14 OBIEs. They were awarded nine Gold and five Silver OBIE awards, including Community of the Year and Best Building Design, making this the eighth Community of the Year award win for The Providence Group.

Michelle Valentino of the Providence Group was also honored to receive the Salesperson of the Year. The OBIE accolades are named after the obelisk each honoree receives.

The Gold OBIE Awards received by The Providence Group included: 

  • A Gold OBIE for Community of the Year- Attached was awarded to Atley, which is located within a half-mile to downtown Alpharetta on Haynes Bridge Road with direct access to the newly completed Alpha Loop. The completed and sold out neighborhood feature homes with fantastic outdoor spaces and bright open interior designs.  Two of the final buildings feature 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 baths priced from the mid $800s.  Community amenities include a gated entrance, pool with cabana, community gardens and a dog park – all situated along the Alpha Loop providing quick access to downtown, The Maxwell Retail and Avalon.

  • The 2024 St. Jude Dream Home at Brackley neighborhood won a Gold OBIE for its Greenville floorplan - Single Family Builder Detached - $600,000-$699,999.  This was the second St. Jude Dream Home built in Atlanta by The Providence Group. The Dream Home was a Greenville plan with 2,676 square feet of living space with a covered front porch. The home features an open concept design with 10-foot ceilings on the main floor.  The 3-story home boasts 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a main level with a chef’s kitchen overlooking the dining and family rooms.

  • Other Gold OBIE Awards included the following:

    •  Waterside - Amenity Package 499 and under units/total build out. Waterside offers resort-style, low maintenance lifestyle along the shores of the Chattahoochee River.  The luxury amenities include a spectacular 7,100 SF community clubhouse with a health and fitness center including aerobics room, massage rooms and spa kitchen on the terrace level and catering kitchen, gathering rooms, card room and conference spaces on the mail level. The amenities for Waterside were designed to promote homeowner interaction and a lively social engagement.

    • Millcroft Brittany Floorplan awarded Single Family Attached All Builders - $400,000-$499,999 

    • Grant Place Kirkwood model - Best Building - Attached Model - $400,000-$499,999

    • Autry model in Evanshire - Best Building - Attached Model - $500,000-$599,999

    • Jacobsen model in Ward’s Crossing - Best Building - Attached Model - $600,000-$699,999

    • Blaylock floorplan in Sawnee Village - Single Family Builder Detached - $700,000-$799,999 

The Providence Group also received five silver OBIE Awards including one for the Community of the Year – Master Plan forWaterside. Waterside offers an amenity rich, low maintenance lifestyle along the shores of the Chattahoochee River. Other silver awards included:
