Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) presented job seekers with abundant opportunities when it hosted a community hiring event on Nov. 2 at Morrow High School. This event exemplified a strong community partnership, with ATL and stakeholders uniting to support local job seekers in securing employment. 

The event attracted 2,142 job seekers who engaged with 29 employers. Offering an array of 1,272 job openings across managerial roles, airline positions, cargo, and concessions, the hiring event transformed the school into a vibrant gateway to careers at the world’s busiest airport. 

The day's success was evident, with 967 individuals either hired on the spot or advancing to the next stage of employment. This event was more than just job placement; it demonstrated a commitment to fostering economic growth and a prosperous future for the region through substantial investment from the ATL Airport community.
