Traton Homes Launches Christmas Toy Drive

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Friday, November 22nd, 2024

Traton Homes is once again calling on the generosity of Cobb County residents to help bring joy to local children in need this holiday season. The Marietta-based builder is requesting donations of new and unwrapped toys for the 2024 Cobb Christmas toy drive now through Friday, December 6, 2024.

“The holidays are a time for giving back, and we’re thrilled to partner with Cobb Christmas for another year,” says Kimberly Garwood, Director of Marketing for Traton Homes. “We invite everyone in the community to join us in spreading holiday cheer by donating a new toy. Your gift can help brighten the life of a child this Christmas.”

This year’s goal remains the same – to fill a Cobb County Transit bus with toys. All donations will be distributed to local families in need by Cobb Christmas, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting low-income and working-poor families during the holidays.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Traton Homes corporate office, located at 720 Kennesaw Avenue NW in Marietta, as well as at all community model homes. Model home locations include:

  • Avenbrook: 1795 Fulmont Circle in Mableton

  • Bluffs at Bells Ferry: 1326 Old Bells Ferry Road in Marietta

  • East Park Village: 3371 Cherokee St. NW in Kennesaw

  • Townes at South Main: Intersection of Duncan Drive NW and Pine Hill Drive in Kennesaw

  • Cherokee Township: 6000 Priest Road in Acworth

  • Winsome Park: 792 Neese Road in Woodstock

  • Courtyards at Traditions: 7220 Majors Road in Cumming

Since the beginning of its partnership with Cobb Christmas, Traton Homes has gathered and donated thousands of toy donations. Each contribution comes from the company, as well as employees, vendors and generous community members.
