GSH Attorneys, a real estate law firm with offices throughout the state of Georgia, has announced that M. Scott Gazlay, Gillen Joachim, and Marianne Shaver have joined the firm.

“We are thrilled to announce three new additions to our team,” said Managing Partner Vanessa Goggans. “Scott, Gillen and Marianne are excellent real estate attorneys who bring with them a wealth of experience. These attorneys will be crucial to expanding our services across the state.”

Gazlay will assist in opening the new Braselton office location. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia (Dual B.B.A. in Finance and Risk Management, 2008) and John Marshall Law School (J.D., 2010). After graduating a semester early from law school, he was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2011. He has focused his entire legal career on residential real estate since then.

Joachim has years of experience in various areas of law. While he began his practice in immigration and civil litigation, he later pivoted to transactional law. He has handled residential and commercial real estate transactions since 2002. Joachim enjoys the challenge of complex title issues, as well as assisting agents, lenders and those buying and selling their homes. He received an undergraduate degree in English from The University of Mississippi in 1995 and a law degree from the University of Georgia in 1999. Joachim will join the firm’s new Kennesaw office.

Shaver has practiced residential and commercial real estate law since 1996. She is a frequent speaker for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and has presented numerous seminars to agents regarding contracts, titles and general closing practice. After receiving an undergraduate degree in accounting from Lehigh University in 1991, she earned a law degree from Emory University in 1994. She will join the Northeast Metro Atlanta team.
