The Gwinnett Chamber is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Oh to Vice President, Public Policy & External Affairs, effective January 1, 2025. Oh has been a vital part of the Chamber team since joining in February 2020 as Manager of Public Policy and Community Affairs, bringing dedication and leadership to the organization’s advocacy efforts.

Over the past two years, Oh has elevated the Chamber’s advocacy initiatives, including the Washington D.C. Fly-In, where he focuses on strategic scheduling with elected leaders and staff. His work in this area has strengthened the Chamber’s voice on Capitol Hill and reinforced its commitment to supporting policies that benefit the business community. Additionally, Oh has led the Chamber’s civic engagement through initiatives like the Candidates Forum series for School Board and County Commissioners and the annual one-stop election resource page so that Chamber members could make educated and informed decisions at the polls.

Oh has also played a pivotal role in fostering relationships with Consul Generals and roughly eighteen bilateral chambers and business associations across Metro Atlanta. These efforts have enhanced the Chamber’s global connections and created opportunities for Gwinnett businesses to engage in international markets. His ability to collaborate and build these partnerships has significantly expanded the Chamber’s reach and impact.

In his new role, Oh will join the Chamber’s Leadership Team, where he will continue to drive initiatives that champion business through advocacy. He will also continue to represent the Chamber on strategic boards throughout the region, including the Regional Business Coalition, the Georgia Chamber Government Affairs Council, the Council for Quality Growth Government Affairs Task Force, and the Gwinnett County Library Foundation Board. His efforts will focus on further strengthening the Chamber’s public policy and external affairs strategies to support the region’s thriving business ecosystem.

President & CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber Nick Masino said, “Paul has been an incredible asset to our organization, and his promotion reflects his hard work and dedication. I am confident that his leadership will continue to advance the Chamber’s mission to support businesses and advocate for policies that drive economic success.”

Oh added, “It is an honor to serve the Gwinnett Chamber in this new role. I am excited to continue working with our team and partners to strengthen our advocacy efforts and create meaningful connections that benefit our members and the broader business community.”
