Atlanta Pride is proud to announce that the 2025 Atlanta Pride Festival, the largest free Pride festival in the United States, will take place at Piedmont Park from October 11 to 12, 2025. This year’s celebration, once again coinciding with LGBTQ+ History Month and National Coming Out Day on October 11, highlights Atlanta's reputation as a global hub of diversity, inclusion, and pride. As a cultural cornerstone of the LGBTQ+ community, Atlanta Pride continues to unite hundreds of thousands of visitors nationwide and beyond.

“The 2025 Atlanta Pride Festival will be a vital moment for us to come together as a community and celebrate our unity in these uncertain times,” said Executive Director Chris McCain. “Pride has always been about standing together, uplifting one another, and embracing our collective strength and vibrancy. This year, as we celebrate the Atlanta Pride Festival’s 55th anniversary, we aim to continue creating a space that fosters joy and connection for all who join us while honoring the rich tapestry of identities
and stories that make our community extraordinary. Together, we aim to create a joyful, inclusive space that uplifts every attendee.”

A Historic and Record-Breaking Legacy

The 2024 Atlanta Pride Festival shattered attendance records with over 350,000 participants, establishing new benchmarks for engagement and community impact.

Highlights included:

• An electric entertainment lineup, headlined by pop icon Ava Max.

• The nation’s largest outdoor drag event, the legendary Starlight Cabaret, featuring iconic performances by RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner Angeria Paris VanMicheals.

• The largest Family Fun Zone and Artist Market in the festival’s history, offering expansive opportunities for community connection.

• An enriched LGBTQ+ historical showcase in collaboration with local archives, cementing Atlanta Pride’s status as a cultural and educational resource.

2025 Festival Highlights

The 2025 Festival will build on its tradition of excellence with a community marketplace,
artist market, family fun zone, and an eclectic array of performances showcasing the
talent and vibrancy of the LGBTQ+ community. Additional key dates and opportunities
include:

• March 10, 2025: Applications open for the Atlanta Pride Parade andMarketplace, two of the festival’s hallmark events. The Parade draws over 100,000 spectators and fills Midtown Atlanta’s streets with unparalleled energy and inclusivity.

• April 1 - May 1, 2025: Grand Marshal nominations open to the public, inviting the community to honor outstanding leaders and advocates.
