Ryan Companies US, Inc., a national commercial real estate solutions provider, today announced that Domingos Garcia has been appointed regional director of architecture for the Southeast market. In this role, he will oversee Ryan’s architectural projects across the firm’s Tampa and Atlanta offices and work to integrate the regional focus sectors, including healthcare, industrial, multifamily and education.

Domingos will leverage more than two decades of experience across diverse projects to drive the growth of Ryan’s Architecture and Engineering business line. His extensive industry knowledge spans multiple sectors, including retail, hospitality, office, manufacturing and residential. Notably while at Foster + Partners, Garcia had the opportunity to work on many prominent office projects like the Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California and the Tishman Speyer Acqua Towers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Since graduating from Cornell University in 2001, Garcia has contributed to more than 177 million square feet of projects across the world with notable work in the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, Japan, India, China, and more.

This year, Ryan marks the 20th anniversary of its Tampa office, the firm’s Southeast headquarters, which has played a pivotal role in shaping the region’s built environment. Over the past two decades, Ryan has established itself as a leader across numerous sectors, including healthcare, K-12 education, life sciences, industrial, multifamily, aviation and more. Garcia joins a distinguished group of industry leaders who have recently joined the Ryan team, including Kathleen Bonesz, Senior Vice President of speculative industrial real estate development; Joe Fogarty, Vice President of healthcare real estate development; and Brad Hill, Vice President of construction operations.
