Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, one of the nation’s top 100 commercial insurance brokers, has announced the promotion of Client Advisor Tom Mandel. Tom is based in the company’s Tampa office where he will specialize in Property & Casualty and Surety with a focus in construction and manufacturing.

Prior to joining SSP in 2022, Tom began his insurance career with Gilroy Kernan & Gilroy. He originally joined the company as an Account Manager and has recently been involved in SSP’s Producer in Training Program. 

Tom is involved in a variety of associations including the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Florida Surety Association, and the Construction Financial Management Association, where he serves on the Publications Advisory Committee. 

Originally from upstate New York, Tom earned his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and was a student-athlete on the golf team. He is an active supporter of Binghamton’s athletic department and alumni association in addition to volunteering with local organizations such as Feeding Tampa Bay and Keeping Tampa Bay Beautiful.
