Big Blue Marble Academy (BBMA), a leading provider of early childhood education with 91 schools across nine states, has appointed Jomar Jenkins as its President, further strengthening its leadership team as the organization scales its operations and expands its impact.
Under the direction of CEO Jeff Wahl, BBMA is building a team of seasoned industry executives with the expertise to position the company for long-term success. Jenkins brings nearly two decades of experience in strategic growth, organizational and people development, mergers and acquisitions and has a track record of scaling organizations while maintaining operational integrity.
Jenkins most recently served as Chief Growth Officer at Mosaic Dental Collective. Prior to that, he spent meaningful time in early childhood education leading a national operator through 60 acquisitions and ultimately expanding their footprint by more than 180 schools. He chairs the Board of Directors for J.P. Industries, Inc., which has empowered thousands of individuals with disabilities through gainful employment and job training opportunities over the years.
"At BBMA, we have formed an executive team with deep expertise in both early childhood education and corporate growth that is positioned to drive the next phase of our expansion and impact," said Wahl. "Jomar's appointment aligns with BBMA's broader strategy to accelerate growth while strengthening its reputation for educational excellence. I am thrilled to have Jomar join the BBMA team. His leadership will be central to advancing our vision, ensuring we continue to expand access to high-caliber early learning programs for more families and improve outcomes for children across the United States."
"This is an exciting moment for BBMA as it continues to broaden its reach and reinforce its leadership in early childhood education," said Jenkins. "Sustainable growth is not simply about increasing capacity—it requires a commitment to program and operational excellence, supporting our teachers and staff and providing the best experience for our students and their families. I am excited to be back in the ECE industry and look forward to working alongside Jeff and the leadership team to support BBMA's continued evolution and impact."
With an executive team committed to both expansion and quality, BBMA is well-positioned to extend its leadership in early childhood education while delivering meaningful outcomes for children, families and communities.
