Marietta-based creative agency id8 is thrilled to announce multiple new awards for recent projects. id8 won two American Graphic Design Awards™ for projects featuring Visit Marietta and the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) and three Davey Awards for projects featuring GDOL and Kistler.
Organized by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA), the American Graphic Design Awards™ is open to design firms, creative agencies, in-house departments, freelancers, students and more. It honors outstanding work in two dozen categories across print, digital and interactive media. Around 8,000 entries across the United States were submitted to the competition, with the top ten percent receiving recognition.
id8’s two wins include:
- GDOL Rebrand
- Visit Marietta Brand Guidelines
In addition, id8 won three Davey Awards. Established in 2005, The International Davey Awards are an esteemed honor in the creative industry, particularly for small to mid-sized agencies and organizations. Organized by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), the awards celebrate outstanding work in advertising, marketing, and digital content, focusing on creativity rather than budget or size.
id8’s three wins include:
- GDOL Rebranding: Print Campaign-Brand Promotion, Silver Award
- GDOL Rebrand & Guidelines: Corporate Identity-Identity Style Guide, Silver Award
- Kistler Website Redesign: General-Construction, Gold Award
Key to id8’s success is its outstanding staff. The GDOL project was led by Jess Gerjets, Vice President of Creative; Lindsay Pace, Vice President of Accounts; Eric Berrios, Brand Strategist; and Sam Cleveland, Graphic Designer.
The Visit Marietta project was led by id8 Kriston Sellier, President of id8; Jess Gerjets, Vice President of Creative; Eric Berrios, Brand Strategist; and Kim Whitaker, Graphic Designer.
The Kistler project was led by Kriston Sellier, President of id8; Eric Berrios, Brand Strategist; Rhonda Sterett, Developer; and Karsten Nebiker, Graphic Designer.
“The id8 team thoroughly enjoyed working on each of the projects that earned an award, and the industry recognition from Graphic Design USA and the Davey Awards make each project even more meaningful. Although all of the projects are unique, the goal for each project was the same. We wanted to bring tangible value to our clients by going far beyond just creating designs that are visually appealing and connect design solutions to our clients’ business goals,” said Sellier.
