InCommunity Announces Kathryn Spencer as Chief Counsel

InCommunity, a leader in providing innovative solutions for inclusive and empowering communities, announces the appointment of Kathryn Spencer as Chief Counsel.
Kathryn brings legal expertise and leadership experience to InCommunity, with a career spanning nearly two decades in corporate law and governance. Most recently, she served as Chief Counsel for Southern Company Gas, where she managed corporate and governance matters for regulated and unregulated businesses, oversaw compliance, and provided strategic legal counsel on business initiatives. Her extensive experience includes contract negotiation, team leadership, and advising on corporate policies.

Kathryn holds a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Spanish from the University of Virginia. She is also actively involved in community initiatives, including volunteering with Fulton County Animal Services and serving on the finance committee of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.
Her leadership at InCommunity will focus on supporting the organization’s legal needs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to its long-term strategic growth.
