'Buc-ee's Loves Georgia:' Did you Celebrate the First 'Buc-ee's Day' for the State?

Buc-ee's vast popularity in Georgia was officially recognized on Thursday.

Members of the Georgia General Assembly named March 20 as "Buc-ee's Day" at the Georgia State Capitol through Senate Resolution 418. Goodie bags were given out, Buc-ee the mascot took pictures, and Rep. Bethany Ballard detailed Buc-ee's significance to the community.

"The Warner Robins Buc-ee's was the first Buc-ee's in Georgia. It's now how I give directions to my house. You get off at the Buc-ee's exit and turn left....Buc-ee's is a valued community partner. They have great jobs, great benefits, and it's a place for people to eat and gather. It is the place to be on a Houston County Friday night after football games.
