Marci Reed Returns to Southface Institute as Interim VP for Resource Development

Southface Institute, an Atlanta-based sustainability nonprofit, welcomes Marci B. Reed, CFRE, MPA back to the organization as Interim Vice President for Resource Development. Reed was Southface’s first Director of Development and Communications. She has worked as a development officer and management executive for almost 30 years supporting charitable organizations, professional associations and institutes of higher learning.
“We are excited to have Marci Reed back with Southface as we continue our work to empower sustainable communities through advocacy, education, and services,” says James Marlow, President, Southface Institute.
Reed holds a BA in English from Georgia State University (GSU) and a Masters in Nonprofit Management from GSU’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.

A lifetime Atlantan, Reed is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta and the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership (IGEL). She and her husband Robert Reed live in Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
