Tournament officials announced that tickets are now on sale and volunteer registration is now open for the 2025 Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure. The event also recognized the 2024 volunteers of the year, David Swint and Steve Bevels.
The Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure, will showcase a top-tier lineup of golf legends at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, GA from April 25-27, 2025. The tournament benefits local charities through the Gwinnett Championship Foundation Inc. and has raised over $5 million since 2013.
“For more than a decade, the Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure has been a wonderful showcase for our community and given fans the opportunity to see legends of the game play in one of the sport’s most exciting venues,” said Executive Director Monte Ortel. “Because of the generosity of our sponsors and the hard work of our staff and volunteers, this event has become one of the premier stops on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule and we can’t wait to welcome the legends of the game back to TPC Sugarloaf in April.”
TICKETS ON SALE
Tickets for the Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure are now available for purchase at
mitsubishielectricclassic.com. There are multiple ticket options available that offer a host of amenities:
- The Grounds ticket grants access to tournament grounds, public seating and concession options on course. Available as a daily or weekly option.
- The Clubhouse offering provides access to the TPC Sugarloaf Clubhouse & Event Lawn with an upgraded food and beverage option available for purchase. Available as a daily or weekly option.
- The Champions Club presented by NCS Partners offers prime views on the 17th green with an inclusive lunch, afternoon snacks and full bar in addition to private restrooms.
- Children 15 years of age and younger are eligible for Youth Tickets, Available for pickup at the information tent, Youth Tickets provide grounds access, but children two and older need separate tickets for the Clubhouse and all Hospitality Venues.
VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Volunteer registration for the Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure is now open at
mitsubishielectricclassic.com. Supported by RS Andrews, the volunteer program provides opportunities for community residents to take a hands-on role in driving the success of the tournament.
Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure Volunteer Stats:
- 492: Total amount of volunteers in 2024
- 11,808: Total volunteer hours served in 2024
- 25: States (including Georgia) with volunteers in 2024
- 60: Number of volunteers with more than 10 years of service to the event
- 140: First time volunteers in 2024
Individuals can register for a variety of roles in hospitality, marshals, player services, scoring, tournament services and volunteer services committees. Volunteers can choose from three different registration options:
- The Driver with License option includes a logoed t-shirt, volunteer parking pass, meals during shifts, a grounds badge and a 15% discount on merchandise (all valued at $180), available for $10.
- The Standard Bearers option includes the above amenities PLUS a ball cap/visor, logoed clear backpack, volunteer pin and credential (all valued at $200), available for $40.
- The Volunteer option includes a logoed polo shirt, a quarter-zip pullover, a ball cap/visor, logoed clear backpack, volunteer pin and credential (all valued at $295) available for $100. Additionally, those who choose the Volunteer option will have the opportunity to play TPC Sugarloaf at a discounted rate, following the tournament with the completion of three shifts.

VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION
Following the conclusion of the 2024 Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure, the leadership of the event recognized two outstanding volunteers for their service. David Swint, who served as chair of the back nine committee, and Steve Bevels, who served as chair of spectator information committee, were honored as the Volunteers of the Year. They were presented their awards on the 18
th green alongside tournament winner Steven Ames (

“David and Steve embody what make this event so special,” said Neal Singer, Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure volunteer chairman. “David began serving at the inaugural event in 2013 and has mentored so many others who have served throughout the years. Steve has served the event for nine years and he is the first person to report in the morning and he stays late to make sure everything gets done. We are excited to recognize them as Volunteers of the Year.”
