Modern fine fragrance concept Olfactory NYCis now open at Atlanta’s Ponce City Market, next to the Central Food Hall’s West entrance and Sugarboo & Co. Founded in New York City by JJ Vittoria in 2017, Olfactory NYC is a unique, original concept where customers can create their own personalized fragrance through a fun, accessible experience.

Curated by the world's top perfumers – including Ilias Ermenedis, Honorine Blanc, Harry Fremont, Gabriela Chelariu, Frank Voelkl, and Annie Buzantian – Olfactory NYC eliminates the guesswork behind choosing a “signature scent.” At their Scent Studios, customers are invited to create a personalized fragrance starting from one of Olfactory NYC’s nine core, gender-neutral fragrances. Based on their preferences, the store’s ‘scentologists’ guide them through the process of layering a variety of scents on to their chosen core scent to come up with their very own personalized fragrance. It is then bottled fresh and hand-stamped with a custom label in the customer’s color of choice. 

In addition to core and custom fragrance, Olfactory NYC’s Ponce City Market shop offers travel sprays, body wash, body lotion, and solid-scents.

Olfactory NYC uses the highest quality ingredients found in the finest luxury brands and is certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny International. All products are vegan, phthalate-free, and paraben-free. The fragrance oils are sustainably sourced and contain ingredients certified safe by IFRA.

The brand has three New York City boutiques, including the flagship Bleecker Street West Village store, Nolita, and Williamsburg, as well as a boutique on Boston’s famed Newbury shopping street, in Washington, D.C.’s popular Georgetown district, and in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. In 2025, Olfactory NYC is also set to open another Washington D.C. store and several other boutiques in key markets across the country.
