Moore Colson Partners Candace Jackson and Elizabeth Miller Named to the Forbes America’s Best-In-State CPAs List

Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting and advisory firm in Atlanta, announced that Partners Candace Jackson, CPA, and Elizabeth Miller, CPA, were recognized on Forbes’ inaugural America’s Best-In-State CPAs list. Among the 43 CPAs selected from Georgia, Jackson and Miller were honored for their outstanding professional achievements and contributions to the industry.
Forbes published the list on Tax Day, April 15, 2025. The list was compiled by Forbes editorial staff through independent nominations. Candidates were evaluated based on expertise, innovation, thought leadership, experience, and service to the community and the profession.
Jackson serves Moore Colson as a partner and Assurance Practice Area leader. She oversees the firm’s audit teams, coordinates assurance services, technical research and advisory services, maintains and expands client relationships, develops and implements value-added ideas, and mentors and trains firm professionals. Jackson also leads the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit area. With almost 20 years of experience, Jackson has worked with both public and private company retirement plans, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and advising on plan operations. She also has extensive experience serving clients in the distribution, professional services and transportation industries.

With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Miller provides expertise in the analysis, design and development of business structures for accounting departments in the construction, convenience stores, distribution, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, real estate, retail and technology industries. She provides flexible and scalable accounting support and business advisory to launch businesses to the next growth phase.
