The ATL Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), the destination marketing organization for the cities of College Park, Hapeville and Union City, Ga., today announced the 2025 USA Powerlifting Raw Nationals will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) in College Park from June 26 to June 29. 

“We are honored to welcome USA Powerlifting back to the GICC following the Collegiate Nationals last April,” said Mercedes Miller, president of the ATL Airport District CVB. “The District has become a hub for major sporting events, and we are proud to provide a location that’s not only accessible and efficient, but also rich in culture. Events like this are a major win for our local economy—brining in visitors who stay in our hotels, dine in our restaurants and explore our communities. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase not only our world-class facilities, but everything the District has to offer.”

Organized by USA Powerlifting—the leading drug-tested powerlifting organization in the United States—Raw Nationals is the premier competition for athletes who lift without the aid of supportive gear. Competitors perform the squat, bench press and deadlift using only minimal equipment such as a non-supportive singlet, belt, wrist wraps and knee sleeves. Serving as a qualifying platform for international competition, Raw Nationals attracts top lifters from across the country representing all age groups and weight classes.

Conveniently located just minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the GICC is metro-Atlanta’s second-largest convention center and uniquely positioned for its accessibility, plentiful accommodations and a wide array of local dining, entertainment options and sporting events.
