DeKalb County Announces $200M+ In Residential Property Tax Relief

DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson announced details about the county's proposed Equalized Homestead Option Sales Tax (EHOST) on Wednesday. It will provide more than $206.3 million in residential property tax relief for those with homestead exemptions. 

According to a release from DeKalb County, the homestead credit will be included in the proposed resolution to adopt the 2025 millage rates that are being considered by the Board of Commissioners.
