InCommunity has received a grant from the James M. Cox Foundation, the charitable arm of Cox Enterprises and named after the company’s founder, in support of its ongoing mission to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Georgia. The $50,000 grant will be used to make improvements to InCommunity’s residential homes across the community.
For more than 45 years, InCommunity has provided residential and community-based services that promote independence, inclusion, and quality of life. This grant will help the organization continue building strong, supportive environments for the individuals and families it serves.
“We are honored to receive this generous gift from the James M. Cox Foundation and the vote of confidence they have shown by investing in InCommunity and our mission,” said Meg Blackwood, CEO of InCommunity. “Their partnership and investment strengthen our ability to serve communities across Georgia and ensure that the people we support have every opportunity to thrive.”
