WorkSource Fulton is proud to announce a strategic workforce development partnership with Coca-Cola Bottling United, enrolling 11 employees from the company’s Union City Manufacturing Facility into its Incumbent Worker Training Program. This initiative aims to provide targeted, high-impact training that strengthens individual career growth and enhances operational performance.

The selected participants are undergoing 32 hours of specialized Electrical and Mechanical Training designed to align with the essential functions of their job roles. The curriculum includes modules such as Mechanical Theory, Pneumatic Theory, Pneumatic Components, and Chain Drive Management, all critical to maintaining and improving facility operations.

“We are excited to support Coca-Cola Bottling United in their commitment to workforce excellence,” says Brett Lacy, Deputy Director, Select Fulton. “This partnership reflects our mission to invest in the upskilling of Fulton County’s workforce, especially for individuals already contributing to our region’s economic success,” adds Lucius McRunnels, Business Service Manager, WorkSource Fulton.

The training, which concludes on June 16, is expected to lead to an industry-recognized certification for each participant. Coca-Cola Bottling United anticipates the program will boost operational efficiency and empower employees with the technical knowledge needed to advance in their careers.

WorkSource Fulton’s Incumbent Worker Training Program is a powerful example of how public-private partnerships can drive sustainable economic growth and provide lasting value for employers and employees alike.
