AMIS Atlanta Announces New Board Members

The Atlanta Ministry with International Students (AMIS Atlanta) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: Victoria Dorsey and Kristen Settlemire Fuller. The Board provides leadership for carrying out AMIS's mission of welcoming and connecting international students with friends.

"AMIS is excited to welcome Kristen Settlemire Fuller and Victoria Dorsey to the Board of Directors," says Zebekiah Bortner, AMIS Board Chairman. "Both Kristen and Victoria have strong ties to higher education with a passion for cultural exchange. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication to AMIS's mission of international friendship."

Kristen Settlemire Fuller works as a Senior Assistant Attorney General with the State of Georgia Office of the Attorney General. She is the chief of the Education, Local Government & Judiciary Section. Concerning her appointment to the AMIS Board of Directors, Kristen states, "I am excited to join the AMIS board to support the international student community in Atlanta and to carry the mission of this incredible organization forward."

Victoria Dorsey is the Assistant Vice President for Development at Atlanta Metropolitan State College with a background in secondary and higher education Advancement and Alumni Relations. Victoria says she is "honored and excited to contribute to the great community AMIS builds in the Atlanta area. Promoting respect, hospitality and peace are causes I am happy to support."

Both Kristen and Victoria will join AMIS's Development Committee. “Both of our newest Board members embody the spirit of community. We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we endeavor to strengthen AMIS's financial support and our work to facilitate friendships and peace,” notes Camille Kesler, Executive Director. "In our current climate, AMIS's work is more important than ever in standing with and supporting international students by welcoming them to Atlanta and creating a community where they can make local and personal connections."
