Hyperion Bank has named Kristjan Prima as Senior Vice President and Director of SBA Lending. Prima brings a strong blend of strategic insight, lending expertise and personal passion to the bank’s growing SBA program. Hyperion’s Atlanta banking office is located in Piedmont Center in Buckhead.

Prima leads the SBA lending team with a clear focus: expanding access to capital for entrepreneurs while upholding program compliance and protecting credit quality. Since joining Hyperion in May, he has already developed a robust SBA pipeline exceeding $20 million.

“I grew up in a small business household. I saw the sacrifice, hustle, and determination it takes to build something from the ground up,” Prima says. “That’s what motivates me – to support business owners in achieving their dreams.”

A second-generation small business champion, Prima’s dedication is deeply personal. Inspired by his grandfather’s escape from Nazi Germany and his father’s successful homebuilding business, Prima saw early on what small business owners overcome to build their dreams. That legacy fuels his commitment to serving entrepreneurs.

Prima holds a master’s degree, will add a second one when he graduates from Georgetown in May 2026, and is known for combining analytical precision with a client-first mindset. Outside work, he remains active in volunteer service, market research, and community leadership.
